Decent Base LayoutFirst of all, you need to have a good base layout no matter you are in Town Hall 9 or 10. Do refer to for my current trophy pushing base layout.
This is very important because just like Clan Wars, a solid based will help to reduce the chance from getting 3 stars from enemies. Even better, don’t let them 2 stars you at all. Sometimes, you will get free trophy when they failed the attack. That’s the best deal ever.Give and TakeYes, you give and take. Give them precious dark elixir and take trophy back for free.
You don’t have to attack anyone and earn trophy easily. Of course, losing dark elixir is the price that you have to pay. People tend to attack me for DE on my war base. Or you always put dark elixir storage outside of defences to attract others for easy DE. I managed to reach Master III with this method.
You can also try to put gold and elixir storage outside too.High Level of DefencesThe higher level of defences, the better. All maxed out is the best but that will take you a very long time to try to push to Champion league for free 2000 gems then. Personally, I don’t recommend TH9 players to push up to Champion league because they will get crushed easily by TH10 players.
Lack of inferno towers are a big no for pushing. You still can try but will be harder. Be in active clan and ask for plenty of high level clan castle’s troops.
And always arm traps after being attacked. This will help to reduce loses.High Level Heroes, Troops & SpellsHigh level king and queen will help you in both defence and offence.
And be sure that both of them are not upgrading during trophy pushing. Else you will have a hard time to win the attack without them. They will be the factor that let you win 1 star or 2 stars. Or worst losing In addition, other troops and spells are also important because low level armies can’t take down high level enemies’ defences.
Therefore, it is highly recommended to have high level offences before pushing.Attacking StrategyYou can earn free trophy in lower league level with decent base. However, this is not the case at Master III onwards. Lot of people have high level troop here. Therefore, make sure that you have plenty of time to stay online during attack.
And use gems to speed up troop training and spell brewing time. Gems heroes too for speedy health recovery.
As a result, you will get more trophy from attacking than losing it on defence. Always use your best attacking troop’s combination, no matter air forces or ground troops. And find weak and poor defence layout base to attack. Oh, before I forget. Do make sure that you have enough gold, elixir and dark elixir when pushing.
You don’t attack for loot but trophy. RememberPersonally, I don’t recommend to push toward Titan league (don’t think of Legend at all) unless you already maxed everything. Yes, loot bonus is higher but does it worth the price?

Now I’ll admit it – I’ve never been the biggest fan of farming, I’m more a war kind of guy but recently (since the update) I’ve noticed how much easier farming is high up in Titan League. For as long as I can remember, Clash of Clans has had its best farming down in Gold and Crystal League.
Until now.How to farm in Titan LeagueIf, like me, you don’t want to spend hours doing smaller attacks but would instead like to make a couple of big hauls on each cool down then it’s now very easy to do so up in high Champions / Titans / Legends League. There are several advantages to this – you get to practise making real raids that can be used in war and the huge bonuses you receive after a victory almost guarantee you’ll get your resources back at the very least. Firstly, I want to make sure I get the bonus at the end of each attack. In Titan 2 that is around 300,000 of each resource and 2,000 DE. Secondly, I want to make sure I always reach my daily star bonus – this shouldn’t be too tough, but if you don’t have much time for farming, those 2 star attacks will help you get there. I always try and attack bases with 2k+ Dark Elixir. The reason for this is very simple – I’m using a proper war army that costs around 3600 dark elixir in total. In order to make good DE, you want to be getting at least 2k plus the 2k bonus, everything else on top of that is profit.

You can see from these 3 attacks I will have made around 7k DE – not mind blowing but good if you take into account the other resources as well. So why don’t I use a less DE heavy army? You absolutely can do, I’d recommend valks for that but in this situation I’ve found I enjoy using this compilation to attack and don’t mind spending a bit more DE seeing as I’m still always making profit. The final bonus is that you can attack any base. Because you’re using a strong army, it doesn’t matter if the base is fully maxed or not because you should still be able to do the 2 star attack.So what are the benefits of Titan League?I’ve chosen Titan 2 to be my farming ground and this is why:. You don’t spend much time in the clouds, it’s low enough that there are still plenty of people to attack.

It’s high enough that the loot bonus is still excellent. You are receiving 300k gold and elixir and 2060 DE. People up here tend to have pretty good resources, including dark elixir – either they are maxed already in which case they have a lot of resources as they aren’t spending any or they are saving for things like high level heroes – so on the whole you find bases filled with good loot, especially dark elixir. Practice – this won’t matter for everyone, but as I like warring, it’s a good place to practice against pretty decent bases with whatever army composition you are using. It means I can go into war having done 20-30 attacks using any single composition and feel pretty comfortable about it.The icing on the cake:Since the last update, things have changed a lot in farming and they specifically benefit those attacking higher up in the league tables. Having two armies ready to go at one time means we can get maximum output – all we end up waiting for is our heroes to heal if they were taken down. Don’t get me wrong – this isn’t like farming in Gold League where you can attack every 5/10 minutes, this is slightly more lazy farming where you take more time between attacks (however long it takes your heroes to heal and is great for the office place / school).The only down side is you need to spend to win as the bases will be difficult and you’re ideally looking for 2 stars.
As long as you can calculate decent profit with each attack it’s very easy to get pretty decent loot.Here’s some gameplay examples of how I’m attacking trying to minimize my cost whilst still spending enough to ensure 2 stars.
