I was worried sick that something had happenedto you in the forest,' said Grandma thinking that the knock was hergranddaughter. The wolf let himself in. Poor Granny didnot have time to say another word, before the wolf gobbled her up! Thewolf let out a satisfied burp.A few minutes later, Red Riding Hood knocked onthe door.
The wolf jumped into bed and pulled the covers over his nose. He called in a lady like voice. 'It's me, Little Red RidingHood.' 'Oh how lovely!
Do come in, mydear,' croaked the wolf. When Little Red Riding Hood entered thelittle cottage, she could scarcely recognize her Grandmother. 'The better to see you with, mydear,' replied the wolf. But Grandmother!
