Thanks for your reply, Buddy215.I had already gone through the fixes mentioned at 'Fix connection errors - Google Chrome Help'.The problem with Chrome remained as it was.This morning I tried resetting Chrome per your suggestion.The problem is still present.To recap:Firefox opens Gmail, and / or Google News, and/or Google, but it had some problems opening Google Earth.Internet Explorer gives me a warning when I try to open Google News ('There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.' ) but offers the option to 'Continue to this website (not recommended).' But even Internet Explorer refuses to open Gmail.Thanks again. What AV suite are you using?I use Kaspersky Internet Security.Are you using the standard Windows firewall?I am not using any Windows firewall.Did you have the problem before the updates in your posted image?I do not remember the exact date when this problem started.Since Windows Updates are added automatically, every day, I can only reply that the problem started before some updates but after others.But the problem with Gmail, and/or Google News, and/or Google, does not happen when I use Firefox.
